Milli is a Toronto-based photographer and the creative force behind Timeless by Milli, a photography brand she began building in 2020.
Her approach to photography has never been about simply taking a beautiful picture. She's drawn to people — their character, their ambition, their energy, and the parts of their story that deserve to be remembered. Over time, that instinct developed into a distinctive editorial style, with black-and-white imagery becoming an important part of her visual identity.
As her work evolved, so did her purpose. Milli became especially interested in photographing artists, musicians, creatives, entrepreneurs, and people stepping into a new chapter of who they are. She often says that one of the most meaningful parts of her work is watching people take themselves more seriously after working with her.
The Philosophy
Evidence of who someone was becoming.
For Milli, a photograph shouldn't exist just to fill a portfolio or disappear after a social-media post. It should carry someone's story, preserve a season of their life, strengthen the way they see themselves, and still mean something years later.
Today, her work is moving increasingly toward intentional visual storytelling — combining portraiture, editorial photography, personal branding, music and culture. Her goal is to create photographs that feel less like content and more like evidence of who someone was becoming in that moment.
Because trends eventually disappear. Stories are timeless.
